With a combined expertise of more than 20 years, we offer an independent view on quantum computing and both advantages and disadvantages of this exciting new technology.

Quantum computers will arrive in practice in the next few years. It is important to prepare for this today and build up the knowledge to benefit when the hardware is available.

The QuantumReady Project

The QuantumReady project aims to lay the foundations to prepare Austrian and European companies for the opportunities of the NISQ era: (1) We inform and educate them about the opportunities (but also the challenges and limitations) of this new technology. (2) We develop design methods for prototyping selected problems in a simple quantum computing environment. (3) We build a low-threshold infrastructure that allows them to simulate and/or run the realized solution on real quantum computers (and thus get feedback on its applicability).
